As a Legal Administrator in the Commercial and Agricultural Conveyancing Team here at Redkite, my main role is to support and assist the solicitors with a wide range of property transactions including sales, lettings, financing, development, planning and the property aspects of corporate transactions (both share and business sales). We also deal with insolvency related transactions and agricultural transactions.
I really enjoy my work and getting to know our clients and I tend to find that we deal with the same people again and again which is fantastic as it shows we are doing our jobs well and people have real confidence and trust in us. I very often see positive client feedback which definitely makes the deadlines and the pressures of my role very much worthwhile.
Upon entering the world of work after leaving school aged 17, I started my career in a small but busy solicitor’s office in Bristol city centre. This was to be the start of a long career in the legal world for me and I went on to work at Osborne Clarke, and in the Legal Department of Bristol & West Building Society.
In 1992 I relocated to Wales and joined a firm of solicitors in Carmarthen where I began to specialise in conveyancing. This specialism continued when I joined Redkite and, since May last year, I have been assisting Consultant Solicitor Mr John Griffiths in the Commercial & Agricultural Property Team.
From being a child I have always had a passion for birdwatching and this has taken me to some interesting parts of the world: Poland, Iceland, Spain, Germany and the Scilly Isles to name but a few. I am proud to be the Newsletter Editor, and a Committee member for the local Bird Club (Carmarthenshire Bird Club), which makes it very apt that I am a team member of Redkite Solicitors!
We are exceptionally pleased with the works carried out by John Griffiths and Julie Evans. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their exemplary hard work and patience. We consider John Griffiths went beyond his duties to devote time to our case when on holiday. Eternally grateful. Many thanks.
