I started working for Goldingham and Jotcham, a predecessor firm of Redkite Solicitors, in 1984 as a dedicated word processing operator creating precedents and documents for all departments within the firm.
In 1987 I moved to a dedicated secretarial role within the family department where I have remained ever since, assisting the family solicitors to give our clients the best possible support and advice.
I am usually the first port of call with new clients, some of whom are understandably upset and angry in what can be a traumatic and stressful time in their lives. I understand how distressing their situation must be and treat every client how I would wish to be treated in such a situation.
I understand that every client’s case is unique to them and over the years have been involved in a variety of matters, most with happy results but, inevitably in this area of the law, some with difficult outcomes.
In my spare time I enjoy gardening, knitting, sewing and looking after my grandson. I am also secretary to The Trustees of the Tyndale Monument, a Monument that has been standing on the Knoyle overlooking my village for the last 150 years.
