I am a solicitor with both residential and commercial property expertise.

As a farmer’s wife living in rural Herefordshire, I am familiar with dealing with issues which can arise from buying and selling rural properties and am also used to working with small, often family run, businesses.

Before qualifying as a solicitor in 2007, I worked at the Land Registry and that has proved very useful, particularly when dealing with unregistered land and properties with title issues which need resolving before completion.

Whether acting for first-time buyers or company directors, my wealth of commercial and property experience ensures that I am able to help clients achieve their goals as quickly and as smoothly as possible. I understand that property transactions can cause stress for many clients and I offer a straightforward, honest and efficient service aimed at providing high levels of client care to meet each client’s individual needs.

My residential property experience includes, but is not limited to, dealing with a range of property matters such as sales, purchases, re-mortgages, buy-to-let properties, leasehold transactions, shared ownership sales and purchases, dealing with unregistered land and any related issues.

My commercial property experience includes, but is not limited to a broad range of landlord and tenant work acting for clients in sectors including food & leisure and retail (such as public houses, clothing shops, hairdressers, take away restaurants, offices); dealing and/or assisting with the acquisition of small and family businesses, which included a property element (such as public houses, B&B, hairdressers); sales, purchases and mortgages of commercial (and occasionally residential) property; transfers to SIPPS including sale and leaseback; a variety of work for charities; first registrations and mortgages of several large farms; and the purchase of a working wood.

During my spare time I enjoy spending time at home with my horses, walking my dog in the local countryside, providing holistic therapy treatments to horses and dogs and volunteering at local equestrian events.
