Originally from Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan, I relocated to West Wales as a child.
I undertook my degree in Law and Criminology at Liverpool University, before taking the Legal Practice Course at Swansea University, and completing my Training Contract within Redkite Solicitors.
I now work as a Solicitor within the Personal Injury Department, dealing with a wide range of injury claims including:
- Employers Liability
- Road Traffic Accidents
- Public Liability
- Secondary Victims
- Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority
- Clinical Negligence
- Catastrophic Injuries
- Spinal Injuries
- Accidents to Children
- Harmful Product cases
- Injuries involving animals
I am honoured to help people who have suffered injuries from situations out of their control. In some instances these can be life changing injuries which can mean they are no longer able to deal with their own affairs, or are going to receive a substantial settlement which they will require assistance with once the case settles. I have therefore gained experience in dealing with the Court of Protection and in Personal Injury Trusts. I want to ensure that I can help my clients with every aspect of their claim, which includes after the claim has concluded.
I have been heavily involved in notable cases, including helping to secure more than £14 Million for a young child involved in a very serious road traffic accident. It is working on cases like this, where the settlement we secure can provide the best possible rehabilitation package, helping our clients to life the fullest life possible, that keep me motivated to ensure I provide the highest standard of work on behalf of my clients at all times.
Our Personal Injury Department is known for its excellence and high level of experience, and this was reflected in our win in the Claimant (Personal Injury) Team of the Year Award at the Wales Legal Awards in May 2019.
In my own time I am a keen runner and enjoy participating in Half Marathons. I have used my love of running to raise money for charities close to my heart such as the British Heart Foundation.
